The Chinese Agri-products Marketing Association(CHAMA) is a national social organization legal person set up in June 2002 approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The CHAMA now has a total number of 977 members of the executive council,which are all large-scale agricultural produce wholesale markets with national or regional influence.
The professional responsible department of the CHAMA is the Ministry of Agriculture and receives supervision by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The professional business scope of the CHAMA approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs includes:sector administration,information exchange,advisory service,professional training, international cooperation andprofessional exhibition.
The secretariat of the CHAMA is the administrative body that includes Training and Liaison Department,information Consultant Department,Secretaty Finance Department.
